Production Foreman (Blow Moulding Operations)
Position Overview
• Ensure production plan is executed efficiently and daily targets are met
• Supervise and coordinate all production activities on assigned machines
• Oversee tooling cleaning, inspection, and alignment during production
• Troubleshoot and correct machine and process issues after first-off approval
• Control and stabilize product weight, flash, and dimensional consistency
• Monitor and correct process drift during production runs
• Ensure all products meet required quality standards before release
• Maintain accurate production counts and reporting for all work orders
• Manage work order changes, resin/lot transitions, and proper documentation
• Record and analyze downtime with clear root cause tracking and reporting
• Support installation, setup, and operation of leak tester systems
• Ensure proper machine setup adjustments when quality deviations occur
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs, preventive maintenance, and tooling issues
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with all safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production floor
Qualifications
Qualification:
• Experience in plastic manufacturing, blow moulding, or injection moulding environment
• Strong understanding of production floor operations and machine behavior
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues quickly
• Knowledge of quality standards (flash, weight variation, wall thickness, finish)
• Experience with tooling handling, cleaning, and alignment procedures
• Familiar with leak tester systems and production automation (asset)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple machines and operators in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience in blow moulding or plastic manufacturing industry
• Experience in a lead hand, senior operator, or foreman role preferred
• Hands-on experience with machine troubleshooting and process stabilization
• Strong background in production quality control and defect correction
• Experience with downtime tracking, reporting, and work order transitions
• Experience handling tooling adjustment, cleaning, and alignment procedures
• Familiar with leak testing systems and inline quality inspection tools (asset)

Machine Setup Technician (Mould & Tooling Setup Specialist)
Position Overview
• Set up and change moulds and tooling on production machines
• Install, align, and secure tooling for production readiness
• Configure machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, speed, etc.)
• Perform machine start-up and ensure stable production output
• Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect moulds and tooling before and after setup
• Troubleshoot setup-related issues during production start-up
• Support operators and production team during changeovers
• Ensure first-off parts meet quality standards
• Maintain clean and safe work area
Qualifications
Qualification:
• Experience in plastic manufacturing, blow moulding environment
• Hands-on experience with machine setup, mould installation, or tooling changeovers
• Ability to read basic technical drawings or setup instructions
• Understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physically able to handle heavy tooling and work in a production environment
Experience:
• 2–5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing or blow moulding environment
• Experience in machine setup, mould installation, and tooling changeovers
• Experience working with industrial machinery in a production setting
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is an asset
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or packaging industry preferred
